The inspiration for my landscapes comes from having spent my whole life within them. I particularly like the mellow hills around my home in West Oxfordshire and the somewhat more dramatic ones of Tuscany and Umbria. It is the constant changing of the light and seasons that drive me on to experiment in all media. Photography can never replace the atmosphere created by being “in the moment”.
