PROFILE

Amanda studied classical drawing and portraiture at the Studio Simi, Florence (1980) and then pastel work with the Warwickshire artist Betty Bowman. She balances her teaching life along with private commissions and commercial artwork for many estate agents.

Mandy worked a traditional apprenticeship in and around the arts, picture framing/washline mounts/portraiture until setting up her own art group in 1988 and has been teaching twice a week ever since! She also runs painting holidays in the wilder parts of Europe and the UK.
